SURGE VESSEL
A surge tank is a vessel that is used to absorb the sudden change of pressure in the system as well as to provide extra water during a brief drop in pressure.

SPECIFICATIONS:
- Design Standards – ASME Section VIII Div I
- Working Pressure – up to 70 bar
- Volume – 100 litres to 100,000 litres
- Material – SA516 GR 70 or A36
PAINTING:
Tanks are externally sand blasted to SA 2.5 and then coated with one coat of red oxide and one coat with blue enamel paint.
STANDARD:
ASME Code Construction: All tanks are constructed in accordance with ASME Code Section VIII Div. 1 stamped and labelled for 150 PSI as standard. Non-ASME standard tanks are also available.
BLADDER:
Precision surge vessel is fitted with heavy-duty replaceable Butyl Rubber Bladder.
